Establishment of the “Supply Chain Sustainability Code of Conduct”

The Ricoh Leasing Group has established the “Supply Chain Sustainability Code of Conduct.” We request our suppliers and business partners to understand the Ricoh Leasing Group's sustainability principles outlined below and actively promote them in their business activities.

Labor

  • Do not engage in forced labor or child labor.
  • Comply with statutory minimum wages and equal pay for equal work, and do not unjustly reduce wages.
  • Respect employees' human rights and refrain from inhumane treatment, including discrimination, various forms of harassment, and corporal punishment.
  • Respect the right to organize and the right to collective bargaining to facilitate open communication between labor and management regarding working conditions and the work environment.
  • Comply with legal limits on employees' working hours, holidays, and leave, and prohibit excessive overtime work.

Safety and Health

  • Strive to provide employees with a safe and hygienic workplace environment.
  • Implement emergency measures, including reporting incidents to employees, disseminating information, establishing evacuation procedures, and providing education and training.

Environment

  • Take care in business activities to avoid negative impacts on natural capital and local communities due to environmental pollution or other environmental issues.
  • Strive to reduce energy consumption and emissions of greenhouse gases and waste to mitigate climate change and global warming.

Ethics

  • Comply with relevant laws, regulations, and international rules, ensuring fair transactions and preventing corruption, including the prevention of conflicts of interest and anti-competitive practices.
  • Conduct responsible procurement activities by adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and social norms.Timely and appropriate disclosure of information regarding each of the above items shall be made.
