Recognizing that all corporate activities may have an impact on human rights, the Ricoh Lease Group respects international human rights standards and undertakes to act with high ethical standards and a sense of responsibility in accordance with the Corporate Code of Conduct, which the Ricoh Lease Group must strictly observe.
Scope of Application
The Ricoh Lease Group Human Rights Policy (hereafter referred to as the "Policy") describes how to act in order to fulfill the responsibility of respecting human rights in business activities, and applies to all directors and employees of Group companies.We also seek support for this policy from our suppliers and business partners.
International human rights standards that respect
The Ricoh Lease Group complies with applicable laws and regulations in the regions in which it conducts business activities, and is committed to human rights based on the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, which sets out the International Bill of Human Rights and core labor standards, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the Rights and Business Principles of Children.
Ricoh Lease agrees with and signs the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).We are continuing our activities to realize the 10 principles in the four areas listed by UNGC: "Human Rights," "Work," "Environmental," and "Anti-Corruption."
To stakeholders
The Ricoh Leasing Group respects the human rights of all stakeholders (customers, suppliers, business partners, employees, people in local communities, etc.) throughout the entire value chain in the corporate activities of our group.
In order to respect the diversity of individuals and to respect all basic human rights, we will not be complicit in any violation of human rights due to gender, age, nationality, race, ethnicity, ideas, beliefs, religion, social status, employment form, marital status, pregnancy status, family origin, sexual orientation or identity, physical characteristics, diseases, disability, or any other factors, nor will we discriminate in accordance with the laws and regulations of each region.
Human rights due diligence
In order to prevent or reduce the negative impact of business activities on human rights, the Ricoh Lease Group will identify and evaluate the negative impact on human rights, appropriately reflect the results of its investigations in organizational operations and business processes, and monitor the implementation status and results of measures to ensure appropriate human rights due diligence.
Responsibility for providing services
The Ricoh Leasing Group has formulated the Social and Environmental Policies for Investment and primarily in Loans, and aims to realize a sustainable society by prohibiting or controlling investment primarily in Loans in businesses and companies that have a significant negative impact on the environment and society.We will recognize the negative impact on human rights on the supply chain in our business activities, and will take seriously measures to prevent or mitigate it.
We will strive to develop a sound society by identifying the negative impact on human rights of information leaks, etc. in information management, and recognizing the negative impact on human rights when services in business activities are used for money laundering, etc. as a result, and by establishing a management system to avoid such risks.
