Community-based social contribution activities
Each employee is aware of his or her responsibility as a company citizen, and aims to revitalize local communities by participating in and supporting local communities and civic activities.
Greening activities
On November 11, 2023, a total of 33 employees and their families, including the president's Nakamura, participated in the "Forest Development Campaign with Low Pollen Pollen" (hereinafter referred to as the "Motion"), and carried out forest improvement activities.
This motion is an activity in which the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for the Promotion of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (hereinafter referred to as the "Foundation for Promotion") and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government collaborate to cut off Japanese cedar and hinoki forests in the Tama region, which generate a large amount of pollen, and replanting them with Japanese cedar (the number of pollens is about 1/100 of that of conventional cedar) that contain a small amount of pollen.
As part of our biodiversity activities, we have been conducting forest afforestation activities at the Fuji Mountain Green Fund Forest (national land) since 2005.In 2022, the Foundation and Tokyo Metropolitan Government sponsored the "Forest Promotion Campaign with Less Pollen" as a new site for activities, and concluded an agreement on corporate forest development with the support of the foundation and started activities for 10 years. The amount equivalent to the forest-improvement expenses for the relevant period is donated using our "Abundant Future Reserves" system.
On the day of the event, the executives, employees, and their families carried out the second year's replenishment work and tape sticking work to prevent accidental felling in the Ricoh Lease Group Forests for the Ricoh Lease Group's affluent future.
Through Promotion of Sustainable Management, we aim to realize our medium-to long-term vision of "Circulation-Creating Company," and will continue to engage in social-contribution activities to create a prosperous future.

"Electric Power Class" for local elementary school students
On October 17, we held a "Power Generation Class" at Mito City Koibuchi Elementary School and our solar power plant in Koibuchi-cho, Mito City.
The event is held every year with the aim of making it fun for children to learn about renewable energy and feel closer to it, and this year 42 fifth graders from Mito City Koibuchi Elementary School participated.
In the power generation classes, our employees gave lectures on global warming and the use of renewable energy as a countermeasure against global warming.Next, we learned concrete actions for achieving SDGs using SDGs Karuta.
After that, we moved to Koibuchi-cho No.1, No.2, and No.3 solar power stations, where we visited power generation facilities such as solar panels and power conditioners.Through our efforts for renewable energy, including solar power generation business, we will continue to convey the importance of environmental conservation to our children, who will lead the future. At the same time, we will continue to aim to realize Contribute to clean global environment, which is one of our materialities.
