On February 22, 2022, Ricoh Leasing Co., Ltd. (hereafter, we) agreed to the purpose of the "Declaration on the Establishment of Partnerships" established by the Cabinet Office, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, etc., and registered the Declaration on the Establishment of Partnerships as follows.

We declare that we will focus on the following items in order to build new partnerships by promoting collaboration and coexistence and co-prosperity with suppliers in the supply chain and businesses seeking to create value.

Co-existence and co-prosperity of the entire supply chain, and new collaboration that transcends scale, affiliations, etc.

Through direct business partners, we will work to increase added value throughout the supply chain by encouraging their business partners (from "TierN" to "TierN+1"). At the same time, we will aim to build co-existence and co-prosperity with our business partners through collaboration that transcends existing business relationships, enterprise size, etc.In doing so, from the standpoint of business continuity and work-style reform in the event of a disaster, support will also be provided for the introduction of telework by suppliers and the formulation of BCPs.

Specifically, we provide sales support to approximately 6000 vendor companies, thereby supporting the economic activities of approximately 0.4 million customers.Through our partnerships with our business partners, we will contribute to ESGs and SDGs by providing services and products that are useful for social, market-based, and customer development.

Compliance with the "Promotion Standards"

We will comply with desirable business practices (the "Promotion Standards" based on the Subcontractor Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Act) between parent companies and subcontractors, and will actively work to rectify business practices and business practices that interfere with the establishment of partnerships with business partners.

  1. Pricing method
    No request for unreasonable cost reduction is made.When a subcontractor requests consultation, the subcontractor shall consult sufficiently in order to include appropriate profits of the subcontractor, for example, by taking into account the impact of the increase in labor costs.In the case of a contract, including the determination of the transaction price, the parent business operator shall expressly issue and deliver the contract conditions in writing, etc.
  2. Terms of payment such as notes
    Subcontracting fees will be paid in cash whenever possible.In the case of payment through a bill, we will not pay the discount fee, etc. to the subcontractor, and will endeavor to make the payment site within 60 days.
  3. Intellectual property and know-how
    The Company will conduct transactions based on the guidelines for intellectual property transactions and model contracts, and will not require the conclusion of one-sided confidentiality agreements, disclosure of know-how using its trading position, or transfer of intellectual property rights without charge.
  4. Wrinkling associated with work-style reform, etc
    In order to be able to respond to work-style reform, our suppliers will not place short delivery orders or suddenly change their specifications without incurring appropriate costs.In the event of a disaster, we will not impose unilateral costs on subcontractors in terms of business transactions, and will take into consideration the continuation of business relationships as much as possible at the time of business resumption.
