RICOH LEASING to become RITRES

In December 2026, RICOH LEASING will change its name to RITRES.

The change in our trading name is conditional on the approval of motion partially amending the Articles of Association at the General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for June 29, 2026.

Our story began with a distinctive vendor-based leasing business model. In the 50 years since that time, we have walked alongside our customers, working closely with them to realize their aspirations and address each challenge with care and attention.

We have continually evolved through incremental changes in response to shifting needs. As part of this evolution, we have steadily taken up new challenges across an expanding range of fields, to the extent that our business can no longer be fully described by the simple word “leasing”.

While staying true to our enduring aspirations, we continue to look beyond our existing horizons and challenge new possibilities. We are now ready to take the next step forward under our new name, RITRES, as a force for the creation of a cycle of prosperity for the future.

Message

RICOH LEASING was established as a leasing company in 1976 to support sales of RICOH products. We achieved growth by providing financial support for capital expenditure and business expansion by our customers, especially small and medium enterprises.

This year we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of our founding. To mark this important milestone and signal the start of a new era, we have decided to change the name of the company from RICOH LEASING Company, Ltd. to RITRES Co., Ltd.

While maintaining the DNA that we have cultivated as a financial company, we will evolve into a business company that also offers financial services by continually extending and transforming our business.

We look forward to your continuing support as the newly rebranded RITRES moves toward further growth.

1980s

Our activities expanded to include various financial services, such as lending to RICOH Group employees, and collection agency and factoring services for sales companies.

1990s

Business volume expansion and structural strengthening in preparation for listing

We accelerated our growth by combining our core focus on the supply of RICOH Group products with the expansion of our business activities outside of the RICOH Group.
