Frequently asked questions

Q When will the preferential treatment system for stockholders start?
A We introduced the system for stockholders listed in the register of stockholders and actual shareholders as of September 30, 2004.
Q What is CSR-type preferential treatment for stockholders?
A In cooperation with the issuer, we collect and manage the gift coupons used, and contribute the designated percentage of the face amount of the coupons used for greening projects. In short, we return part of our profits not only to stockholders, but also to society. Thus, we call this corporate social responsibility-type (CSR) preferential treatment for stockholders.
Q Why do you adopt CSR-type preferential treatment for stockholders?
A We planned this preferential treatment system so that our stockholders also feel the satisfaction of engaging in social contribution activities, which we are promoting.
Q To whom do you make donations?
A We contribute to the Green Fund, the National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization, a corporation devoted to the promotion of afforestation.
